Terms and Conditions for Competitions on Social Media

The organiser of the Instagram competitions is WOLTERS cat & dog GmbH, Otto-Hahn-Str. 2, 27283 Verden.

It is expressly pointed out that Instagram is not the organiser of the competitions, is not available as a contact person, does not support, accompany or supervise the competition in any way, and assumes no liability for it. The recipient of the information provided is not Instagram, but WOLTERS cat & dog GmbH. All questions, comments or complaints should therefore not be directed to Instagram, but to WOLTERS cat & dog GmbH. Participation does not create any claims against Instagram.

Eligible to participate is any natural person residing in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, who has reached the age of 18. The winner or winners will be drawn from all participants using an automated random generator. Multiple entries do not increase the chance of winning. Participation via competition agencies or automatic entry procedures is excluded.

After a successful draw, the Instagram accounts of the winners will be marked in an Instagram story and informed about their win. The winners are asked to contact us via direct message on our Instagram account @wolterscatanddog and to subsequently send us their address data by email for the purpose of sending their prize.

Winners who do not provide us with their address data within two weeks of publication lose their claim to the prize. Prizes cannot be paid out in cash. Legal recourse is excluded.

Details about the prizes and the deadline for participation can be found in the respective competition post. Late entries cannot be considered.

We reserve the right to exclude participants from the competition for good reason. Such a reason exists particularly in the case of a violation of these terms and conditions, infringement of legal regulations or rights of third parties or the posting of pornographic, obscene, discriminatory, racist or violent content.

The same applies in the case of completed or attempted manipulation of the competition, attempted disruption or influence on the proper course of the game as well as threats or harassment of other participants or third parties.

We also reserve the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. WOLTERS cat & dog GmbH will particularly exercise this option if a proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.

We process personal data of the participants in the context of the competition only to the extent necessary for the execution of the competition. Any further processing of this data is excluded. In addition to these terms and conditions, our privacy policy applies.

We are not responsible for the websites of Instagram and the data processing by Instagram. In this respect, the privacy and terms of use of Instagram apply.
